【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthemethodandconditionsoftestforthedeterminationofthebreak-ingforceandelongationatbreakofindividualfibresintheconditionedorwetstate.Thedeterminationofthesefibreproperties,whencarriedoutondifferentkindsoftestingequipment,willnotgenerallygiveidenticalresults.Toavoidsuchdifferences,thisInternationalStandardisrestrictedtotheuseofconstant-rate-of-extensiontestingappar-atus.Themethodisapplicabletoallfibres,includingcrimpedfibres,providedthatthelengthoffibreavail-ableenablestheinitiallengthspecifiedinthisInter-nationalStandardtobeused.NOTE1Fornaturalfibres(especiallywoolandcotton)thebreakingtestmostcommonlyperformedisthatofbundlesoffibres(seeISO3060andIWTO32-82).
