【摘要】:1ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesrequire-mentsformagneticparticleinspectionoftheend/-bevelfaceattheendsofseamlessandweldedsteeltubesforpressurepurposes,forthedetectionoflaminarimperfections.ItisintendedthatthisInternationalStandardbeusedtodetect,ontheend/bevelfaceattheendsofplain-endandbevelled-endtubes,laminarimperfectionswhichmayinterferewithsubsequentfabricationandinspectionoperations(e.g.welding,ultrasonicin-spectionofthebuttwelds,etc.).ThisInternationalStandardmaybeusedasanalternativeto,orinad-ditionto,ISO11496.2ThisInternationalStandardmayalsobeusedforthedetectionofimperfections,otherthanlaminarimperfections,ontheend/bevelface.Inthiscase,magnetizationshallbeappliedinthedirectionessen-tiallyperpendiculartotheorientationoftheparticularimperfectionstobedetected.
